Frequently Asked Questions
Are your pieces dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes. However, all pottery will last a bit longer if you hand wash and refrain from microwaving. There are a handful of pieces that have components that are not dishwasher/microwave safe such as my teapots (wire handles), gold luster designs, and bread stones (woven basket).
Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes! Simply select local pickup at checkout and I will contact you with pickup windows and instructions.
What is your return policy?
We work very hard to ensure your pottery gets to you safely. We achieve this by packing pottery in a box with packing materials and then that box goes inside another box with more packing material. This ensures several inches of cushion around your pieces. However, unfortunately sometimes a breakage may occur. If your item arrives broken, please email me a photo of the broken item, as well as a photo of the box. We would love the opportunity to learn from our mistakes. If we have the same color/style on hand, we will ship you a new item immediately. If we do not, we can either refund you for your purchase OR you can wait for a new item to be made (typical turn around time for a replacement is about 3-4 weeks, which is why we try extremely hard not to have anything break during shipping).
How do you calculate shipping? What about multiple pieces?
As of right now we will be using USPS for most shipments. If you have ordered more than one item or you have placed more than one order, we will always combine your items/orders into as few as boxes as possible and will refund back to you any shipping overages. However, please note that certain items must be shipped separately in order to ensure safe arrival.
Can I place a special order?
Sadly, we cannot accept any special or custom orders. In almost all cases, for various reasons it ends up being too much of a burden and customers end up waiting far too long for their items. However, we love hearing new ideas, so please reach out to us with them!
Where is your studio? Can I visit and shop there?
My studio is attached to my home in Topeka, KS. I primarily sell through art shows, local pop ups, and my website but periodically I host an Open Studio Sale where guests can explore my little space and shop pottery alongside some other seriously talented local makers!
